About Laura Berg Hodge

Let’s be honest: I had no dreams of becoming a big real estate mogul.

In fact, the 100+ families I’ve helped to find their dream homes happened almost completely by chance: I just wanted to help a friend with their own listings. Instead, I ended up discovering a new passion — and something that I was really, really good at.

It didn’t take me long to realize that the home buying process wasn’t only confusing and scary for most; it was downright boring. And if you know me, boring isn’t an option. As a native San Antonian and eighth-generation Texan, my roots are planted firmly in this community. You could say my love for the people of Texas made me decide to transform this daunting life task into a no-BS, fun experience.

Helping someone find a home is like matchmaking: you wouldn’t want a stranger to handle something so important. So let’s be friends! I'm known for my light-heartedness, realness, and confidentiality. I’m a careful listener to your goals and concerns, and work them out with you one-by-one. And if you have a sense of humor, then buying and selling homes with me will at the very least be a bucket of laughs.

Let’s be honest: everyone wants an enjoyable home buying/selling experience, and together we can make it one.
